It is my great honour and privilege to welcome you to The Alumni Association of JNU (AAJ).

Jawaharlal Nehru University has always been more than an institution of higher learning—it is a community built on intellectual curiosity, academic excellence, diversity, and a commitment to public service. As alumni, we share a lifelong bond with our alma mater and carry forward the values and spirit that define JNU.

The Alumni Association of JNU exists to strengthen this bond by bringing together alumni from across India and around the world. Our mission is to create a vibrant, inclusive, and collaborative network that enables alumni to connect, support one another, and contribute meaningfully to the continued growth of the University. JNU has nurtured generations of scholars, scientists, civil servants, diplomats, entrepreneurs, artists, journalists, and leaders whose achievements continue to make a positive impact on society.

AAJ is committed to fostering lifelong engagement through alumni networking, mentorship programmes, professional development, reunions, academic collaborations, and initiatives that support students and the University community. We believe that every alumnus has valuable experiences, knowledge, and expertise that can inspire future generations and help strengthen JNU’s legacy.

I encourage every member of our alumni family to actively participate in the Association’s activities, reconnect with classmates, mentor young students, contribute ideas, and support initiatives that promote excellence in education, research, innovation, and social responsibility.
